Introduction

In this module, you will explore the powerful interplay between movement and stillness, delving into the dynamic balance of opposites that shape our experience of Presence. By understanding the spectrum of poles—light and heavy, movement and stillness, yin and yang—you will learn to cultivate a profound sense of stillness that is both active and aware.

Why Stillness?

Stillness is often misunderstood as simply the absence of movement, but true stillness is an active state, rich with internal motion and potential. Just as movement is essential to life, so is stillness - a space where the most subtle and profound transformations can occur.

You will explore how to achieve stillness by mastering the principles of movement, engaging with the forces of gravity and levitation to find balance and Presence.

In this module, we will explore the balance of opposites not as points on a line, but as parts of a wave function—a continuous, flowing relationship akin to a TaiJi symbol:

  • Light & Heavy: Understand how to modulate your perception of weight, making the heavy light and the light heavy.

  • Movement & Stillness: Learn the art of moving externally while cultivating stillness internally, and vice versa.

  • Yin & Yang: Explore the interplay of yin and yang, understanding that yin is not merely the absence of activity, but a state of internal engagement and quiet power.

What You'll Explore

Simple and Fun: We will keep things simple and enjoyable, with the primary goal of ensuring that you can easily access and use these skills anytime, anywhere.

The Wave Function: Understand how movement and stillness exist on a wave, not a line—exploring the circular and cyclical nature of these opposites.

Levitation: Master techniques to create a perfect balance with gravity, allowing you to feel light and effortless in your movements.

Gravitation: Learn to ground yourself deeply, using the pull of gravity to enhance your sense of stability and Presence.

Internal & External Dynamics: Discover how to shift from external activity to internal stillness, maintaining an active presence within while achieving physical stillness.

R-Evolution: Embrace the concept of evolution as a process of continual change and refinement, and revolution as a return to stillness with new awareness.

Invoke the Principles of Movement: Move from fast to slow, from big to small, from the physical to the neurological, and from the body to the mind.

Cultivate Yin Activity: Embrace yin as an active, inward-focused state rather than mere passivity, maintaining internal motion even in external stillness.
